Naafia Naahemaa is a Ghanaian–German visual artist working with photography, moving image, sound, and material-based processes, blending traditional influences with contemporary visual language.

In her curatorial work, collaboration and communal presence are central, with art becoming a site of gathering, ritual, and exchange. This approach extends into YAASAA, a cultural and creative platform through which she cultivates collective encounters across curated programs, original productions, and spatial interventions.

Alongside her artistic work, Naafia Naahemaa contributes to the shaping of projects as a producer and creative director, guiding initiatives across cultural and commercial contexts. She has worked with institutions and companies such as Apple, Chanel, Porsche, and The Stuttgart Ballet, to name a few.
